Held in conjunction with the City of Toronto and the Ontario Professional Planners Institute, kicking off at City Hall and utilizing the PATH system, this year's tour will feature a number of significant recent projects in the city. Before wrapping up with rooftop cocktails, attendees will visit the 1 York / Sugar Wharf Presentation Centre to learn about some of the upcoming development in Toronto.

The Global Walking Tours have been held since 2014 to celebrate urban habitat aspects that make cities great. In celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Council and the 10th World Congress, this year's tours will follow the theme 50 Forward | 50 Back and will celebrate the recent history and sustainable future of cities around the world.
